Promote your site or share a useful resource. Simply post your sports related link in this section. Make sure to link back to us, as well.
Note that you can link to us by leaving comments on our discussion forums or Sport-Blog.com articles. However, if these are simply promotional links, we'll likely delete them sooner or later. Here, however, your links are relatively safe, as long as they are somewhat related to sports. This section IS for you to promote your site, whether it competes with us or not. Have at it.
To suggest a discussion forum topic, simply post it as a comment to this message. We review these regularly and will quite likely add it to our site.
To submit an article for publication, post it here as a comment by clicking on "Comments" above this message. We review these regularly. If an article is appropriate, we'll copy it to the main part of our site, including making a page just for the article accessible via our search engine and accessible via link by search engines (so they can index it).
In order to be appropriate, an article must be informational and useful, not designed to promote any product or service. You may, however, tastefully promote yourself with a tagline such as "article courtesy of whatever.com".
There are three ways to write for Sport-Blog.com, as a discusion forum contributor, by submitting a sports related article, or by becoming a featured writer.
Discussion Forum Contributor. Anyone can contribute to any or all of our discussion forums, which are accessible from our main page. You'll need to set up a Google/Blogger account, if you do not already have one. At that point, contribute away.
Submit An Article. If you would like to submit an article, simply post it at our Submit An Article page. We review these on a regular basis. As long as the article is relevant and useful, we'll post it internally, including an individual page for the article accessible via our search engine. You are allowed to link to your site(s) in the article, but only in a tasteful manner. If the links or commentary are too promotional, we'll likely not post it elsewhere in our site.
Become A Featured Writer. Featured writers get their own sections in Sport-Blog.com, which are linked* from the main page under the heading "Featured Writers." This page then only has content written by that featured writer. Additionally, a Featured Writer's personal Google Adsense code is used for 3 of the 4 ads on the site, resulting in a major portion of the advertising revenue going to the Featured Writer directly. Note that a featured writer, to maintain his or her status, must publish at least one article per month. If you are interested, send us a note including a sample article or two.
To search this site, enter your search term in the box in the upper right hand corner of this or any page, then click the "Search" button just below it. It is that easy.
This searches every indexed page in the site, including long ago archived sports related articles that are not otherwise easy to find. Additionally, given that it is powered by Google, the relevance of your search results will be as good as Google's search algorithm, which is generally considered to be quite good.
Sport-Blog.com is in the process of reinventing itself as a wide open sports discussion forum powered by Google's Blogger.com. We'll still have the archived articles around. You'll be able to find them via the search box, which will search every indexed page in the site, as well as via navigation of links. However, the front of the site will become a portal more to the discussion forums, initially with a forum for every major sports team, and later perhaps much more.
We also plan to have featured writers in the future. Sport-Blog.com can offer quality sports writers an area to publish within, along with a revenue sharing arrangement wherein the vast majority of advertising revenues for an author's page will go to that author. More on that to follow.
